Findings
Direct observation of muon-induced quasiparticle bursts and correlated errors on a 63-qubit processor, with muon detectors in the dilution refrigerator.
We directly observe QP bursts leading to correlated errors that are induced solely by muons and separate the contributions of muons and γ-rays.
